I love the scene Johannes. You have an interesting composition here. My crit has to do with the tonal ranges and exposures. The blacks seem too black and under-exposed while the white in areas are over-exposed. I can see by all of your Greece series that you had very strong sun to deal with. This certainly can make proper exposure throughout very difficult. Maybe a neutral density filter would help in this situation. You should ask Robert Mekis about these. I believe he uses them frequently. I might also suggest cropping out some of the sky to help balance composition.

Good work as always,

Michelle

Vow Johannes!
I really envy your fantastic trip to Greece...
You certainly cashed in on your effort and walk to this place.
It is really a beautiful place. The perspective is top also!
The contrast between sea and sky is better in b&w version and is my preferred one!

(1) u know so this picture really works, and (2) u know why noisy version is much better ;) but not as a Your digital nois - u need more natural noises - more analog - maybe more concrete and with a smaller grain

regards !

White houses as white dresses are a challenge to get a proper exposure...maybe a lil overexposed on the whites....But the place is wonderful....and the gray tones are very nice!...lovely composition and mood....good work Johannes!!

Good crisp clean photo of great scenery, everything is in focus and the contrast between the sky and the rough mountains is great.

Nice work! I think the color version is a bit better, the black and white version is a bit too sober and monotome.
I have to agree with MsMichelleLynn on the exposure part: the buildings are just a bit too white.

But this doesn't I don't like this; on the contrary! Especially the color version is just great.

Well done, I like it a lot. I actually like the high contrast between tones in this, they do not at all bother me. Great work!
